MICHIGAN WILDLIFE PRESENTATIONS FROM NATURE DISCOVERY

Michigan Frogs - Frog and toad populations around the state and beyond are experiencing a range of decline.  In fact, some species are locally extinct in many areas where they were once abundant.  With the use of live specimens, color slides and audio recordings, learn to identify each species in your area by sight and by sound.  Specific life cycles, breeding windows and habitat requirements are also discussed.  This presentation can be expanded to include information about participating in the Michigan DNR's Frog and Toad Survey.
